About us

Easy build models is a small family run business based in County Durham in the north east of England. Having been a keen model railway enthusiast, I decided to take my construction industry and teaching Design & Technology backgrounds and combine them with my hobbies.

Having acquired a personalised gift and wedding supplies business that was established in 2016, in 2022 i decided to start selling the model kits that I had been designing and making for my own layouts and Easy build models was born.

Initially selling through eBay and then at local toy fairs, customers started asking me to design a wider range of kits, some customers emailing photos over of buildings they would specifically like to see developed into kit form. This is something we still do on a regular basis, allowing us to constantly expand our range of kit buildings.

We produce kits and accessories  in 'N', 'OO' and 'O' gauges, as well as kits and accessories in 1/12, 1/32 and 1/64 scales.
